Self-Help - "What you do 'today' can improve all your 'tomorrows'..."

Hello!! You know, everyday, at-least 3 or more people would be checking on us by asking 'How are you?', 'Ssup' and the likes while meeting or on text or so, but have you ever checked on yourself? When was the last time you sat still for even a minute and just checked on all your inner feelings and outer desires? I think somewhere down the line, we have forgotten how to do that, and believe me, sometimes the answer to the millions of questions that our mind's suddenly starts shooting while on bed, is because we aren't answering the feelings that we are having and checking on ourselves.

Do you remember what we have been taught in childhood? That... God helps those who help themselves - perhaps, its time you check on yourself, just realize what you are going through and you will have much much more clarity as to what you want to do and where you wish to be in life - This, my dear reader is called the act of 'Self-Help' and its need to regain all the importance back in your life, as soon as possible!

When I discovered few ways of self-help as a way out for being more productive, reducing stress and unnecessary anxiety, I just had to share it through this blog post.
So, here are the fruitful ways you can set out on Self-Help *Its time you make this a habit*

1. DYO - SWOT Analysis:
We all know what DIY is right? (For the very few who don't its, 'Do It Yourself'). So DYO is Do Your Own SWOT Analysis. This activity is always done when some business work is into picture, but it is an extremely strong tool to analyse your own self and figure out the questions that you have in mind. Have a look at this image for full details:

2. The 'Healthy' Way:
Food and physical exercise affects our brain as much as it affects our other body parts. When you eat healthy and get enough sleep, your brain will instantly start being more alert and when you exercises, you will release hormones and flush out toxins - it's like you're  giving your body a healthy detox, plus, its the easiest way to stay in shape right?

3. Brain Activity:
Indulge in some reading (you may make good use of self-help books), do some puzzles like Sudoku or a Riddler at least twice a week, take the course of creativity - art, music, dance whichever makes you feel delighted, keeping your phone aside for an hour (minimum), refraining from any work related topics / issues on the weekend or just on a Sunday - all these activities ensure that your brain is rejuvenating in way.

4. Meditate and 'Let go off':
One of the most powerful tools of Self-Help is meditating. You don't need a fancy silent room that are the usual meditation rooms for this activity, but all you have to do is speak to your mind for just 5 minutes about accepting the present and being okay with how you are right now, embracing all the things that make you, YOU, and most importantly, stop beating yourself up for the things that didn't go as planned! This is an extremely helpful method of positive re-affirmation and has a lot of energy to heal.
5. Analyze your surroundings:
The moment you open your eyes in the morning, you notice your surroundings, and we all know the positive effects a simple act of having a clean room or bed can have on our day, so why not take notice of your surroundings, your house, your work desk and every nook-and-corner that you be present in, at some point of the day and just de-clutter it. Also, check your surroundings for the kind of people also that are there - get rid of people who make you look down and seep in dampening energy in your life. Clean all your surroundings!

6. Treat Yourself:
There is nothing more self-helping than loving yourself first and well, treating yourself is just a reminder of that. Book that spa treatment, go for that lavish brunch, buy that thing you always wanted, go for that rom-com - Do it! Even if its alone, do it, enjoy your own company the most and you really won't be in need of that much support as you need right now.
