The Three Types of Hobbies Everyone Should Have!

Hello there!! Hope you're doing great and have days filled with a lot of positivity and growth that you need to excel in your goals. The reason I'm talking about 'goals' right now is because, come December and everyone will start deciding and more importantly, telling the people around them, about their #NewYearResolutions - Does something ring in your mind about the same? (:-p)
You'll know the trend, most of them will give up on those resolutions by the end of February, through this post, I'm going to share my 'tried-and-tested' experience as to how you can actually give meaning to your 'Goals' for the year of 2018!

First things First - Set Achievable Expectations for Yourself. Simple. You know where you stand right now, you know your caliber and you know where you want to reach / what you want to achieve. Timeline those goals into small achievements so that by the end of the tenure, you see the final picture of where you had wished to be. The point is to push yourself, but not to push yourself that hard so that you feel demotivated with your achievements over the time. Setting SMART Goals is one of the best techniques!
Second, Analyze the Kind of Goals You have Set for Yourself. Often, you see those Instagram and Facebook Posts about things that people are doing and just merely follow them without analyzing or giving a more confined thought to the fact that whether you really wish to do it, or its just 'Social Media Pressure'? Do NOT fall into that trap. I'm not saying you can have the same goals, I'm saying, give it a better thought before you put it in your Bucket List or New Year Resolutions List!

Third, You Have To Enjoy The Process! I'm glad that you have chosen to change something for yourself, but you also have to enjoy the entire process of change, because that's how you will be motivated to be consistent. And, for doing this, there is one super easy way out - Align Your Goals With Your Hobbies! Think about this, a hobby is something that you do to rejuvenate, merely because you're having fun and leaving aside stress for a while, and what if, you pair that aspect with your goal(s), the process just becomes way simpler and 'enjoyable' to achieve. In simple words: Embrace Change!

Hence, every person, NEEDS to have 3 Kinds of Hobbies:
1. A Hobby That Makes You Healthy - I'm sure you'll be having goals of weight-loss or muscle-building for the year that's coming, everyone does! What if, along with 4 days of Gym Training (based on your weight goals) you take up some sport related hobby to keep your cardio session in place - either running or basket-ball or badminton or tennis or anything for that matter, any sport that allows you to be in the open and unwind from the usual routine, this will really help you enjoy achieving your goals. And, while you're enjoying the hobby that makes you healthy, why not make it a permanent habit!

2. A Hobby That Makes You Money - Well, this aspect is basically career related, but yes, as much as using your earned money makes you happy, the way in which you make money matters the most. It probably might take time, a couple of bad decisions here-and-there to realize the fact that pursuing what makes you happy as a source of money is actually the most important thing. Hence, decide on a career path, it may either be creative or professional, and make your plan-of-action for earning revenue out of it.

3. A Hobby That Makes You Happy - To be happy is a simple thing to say but a complex thing to understand about yourself. There are various ways in which a person may become happy, and that is majority of the times when someone else does something for them which makes them most happy. But why? Think about it, its your mind, its your body, take it up as your own responsibility to do something on your OWN to make yourself happy. Find something to do, just by yourself, which gives you the kick, refrain from depending on someone else for it. It's blissful to share your interests with another person, but don't let that restrict you from following it if you have to do it all by yourself.

The 21-Day Challenge: Whenever you want to inculcate a hobby or a habit permanently in your lifestyle, take help of the 21 Day Challenge. All you have to do is, make a detailed plan for 'Daily' Plan on the lines of your chosen hobby / habit, and follow it diligently for 21 Days, and you will see the change in yourself over the fact that it will slowly become a steady habit and a part of your lifestyle and feel its positive effects!

So this is how can set forth to make the most of 2018 and the coming years ahead. In the end, its all about giving meaning to the life you've lived. Hope you have a wonderful and equally crazy December so that you can start off 2018 with a the same energy!
