7 Things To Do In The Last 7 Days of 2017!
Hello Everyone!! Its the LAST Week of 2017 and as I have already said it before, this year has really passed by like a flash. In fact, there are so many things that have happened in December itself that I'm still trying to absorb it and get used to it and well, 2017 really has been a life-changing, full of learning and experiencing year for me!
As I said, I was still absorbing all the things that have happened in December '17, yesterday, I thought of doing a few things in the last one week of 2017 to make it a memorable one and start the New 2018 Year on a high and positive note, so I'm sharing all of that with you all today (for all those who are not travelling or so :p), with the hope that you'll too make the most of this one week!
Day 1 - 25th December - Make Your '2017 Memory Timeline':
I'm sure by now, you have got yourself your 2018 Planner / Diary, so on its initial pages make a list of all of your 2017 Memories, so that whenever you open your diary, you just give a super quick glance to it. There is an easy way out to pen down all your memories since January 2017 - Your Phone's Photo Gallery! Go to the start of the year and start writing down your cherished moments, no matter how small they are, when you read it all together of all the months, you will definitely feel super super elated. It can't be that difficult to write things down right? And of course, celebrate Christmas in the evening!!
Day 2 - 26th December - Reflect On the Year that has Passed By:
I'm sure that there are many of us who would be sulking about certain things that didn't go as planned during the year, but that is what reflecting is all about - Getting over the miseries and seeing the good in them. This will only make you stronger to take on more things that come your way in a better and a gracious manner, you might as well want to make a list of this too, just to see how you have evolved out strongly and feel positive about yourself.
Day 3 - 27th December - Make Your Next 6 Months / 12 Months Plan:
Make a realistic, achievable, 'don't push yourself too hard kind of goals / plans for the next 6 months (preferably) or the next year. For instance, instead of making a goal of losing 10 Kgs in x, y, z months, re-frame it to, eating clean, working out regularly and balancing the weekend binge as your long-time goal or something on the same lines. Setting realistic goals will only give you a better sense / feeling of achievement and you will be self-motivated to do more and more in the coming year!
Day 4 - 28th December - Clean, Clean, Clean:
Cleaning or rather de-cluttering is actually a very very strong method of rejuvenating if done in the right way. Cleaning your desk, cup-board, drawers, and other sections of your house will make you feel good once you get rid of all the unwanted things, set neatly and pretty to look at and in way get rid of the dampening energy of the 'mess' that you spend most part of your day in. Also, when you buy new things for yourself, you know how that feeling is!
Day 5 - 29th December - Sign Up for Something Unusual:
If you really really really want to make a smashing start to 2018, sign up for something super unusual or super adventurous in the 1st month of 2018 itself. Make good use of the long weekend that January 2018 has. Be it solo trip or bungee jumping or getting that tattoo or having that over-the-top expensive meal experience or whatever which has a spot on your check-list! The feeling that you will get once you accomplish the task will be delightful and it'll make you feel amazing about what the coming year has in store for you!
Day 6 - 30th December - Get Some Family Time and a Lot of Sleep:
I don't think I really need to describe the importance of spending time with your family, it has an amazing vibe to itself. And resting is important because I'm sure you have some crazy plans for the last night of 2017!
Day 7 - 31st December - 'Eat, Drink and Be Merry':
LET IT GO!! Be along side the company of people who make you forget your worries and just relax for the entire day, for you have hustle and grind in 2018 to achieve all that you have planned and look forward to. Let go off all the negative beings of 2017 and when the clock strikes 12, be around the people who matter to you the most and start the year with an amazing feeling. But yeah, Be Safe!
So... Here's my list of doing things for the last 7 Days of 2017 and comment down below if you have any more to share!! Hope this post gets you all motivated and wishing you all a wonderful last week, and an even better year ahead!!
Much Love, Positivity and Gratitude.
